For viewing and printing our PDF files we recommend the freely availabe Adobe Acrobat Reader

Using our FTP area you have the possibility to download a variety of files like data-sheets and brochures. More comfortably you can search within this area from our download page. Most of the downloadable files are PDF files. With the acrobat plugin installed on you PC (comes together with the Acrobat Reader installation) you have th epossibility to view and print the files directly via internet from within your browser. Our PDF files are mostly generated with Adobe FrameMaker (the best solution for technical documentation) and therefore offer easy navigation with clickable cross references and indexes and thumbnails for each page. You can read and print the files without any limitation but they are password secured against changes.

Tip: If you want to completele download a file before opening it then right click on it (context menu) and use the function "Save link/destination under ..." (depending on your browser)

You need the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader version 3 or higher. The installer is made available through many CDs that come bundled with magazines. Additionally you can directly download it via internet from the Adobe web server following the link in the box on the right hand.

Alternatively experienced users might want to use other PDF viewers like Ghostscript and Ghostview (download link in the box). Please keep in mind that it migth be more elaborate to install and setup these programs.

Installation notes Acrobat Reader

If not already installed on your PC just get the installer from a CD or the Adobe web server and follow the installation instructions coming with the program. Afterwards restart your browser (for the recognition of the plugin; Opera users should also force the detection of the plugin from the preferences panel of the browser by pressing Alt+P -- category multi media -- button find plugins -- agreeing to upcoming dialog to connect PDF files with acrobat plugin). Then return to our website and read the desired documents.
